I work with you, not around you.
Every project is different. But the way I approach them is always the same. I start by trying to really understand what you need, why it matters, and who it's for.
The process
01
Listen
We start with a proper conversation. What are you trying to do, who are you talking to, and what does success look like? Send the brief however it arrives: a document, a voice note, a Pinterest board, a thought you haven't quite finished. There's no right way to hand it over, and I'll make sure I understand exactly what you need. Working with me tends to feel calmer than people expect. Brilliant work shouldn't feel like hard work.
02
Think
I develop directions: concepts, references, early visual ideas. Nothing's precious at this stage, we can work out exactly what is working and what isn't. This is where we find the right territory before committing to it.
03
Make
Design development, refinement, and production. You'll see work in progress, give feedback in rounds, and sign off at each stage. You'll always know what's happening, when, and why. No jargon, no mystery, no stress. Creative work shouldn't feel like decoding a tax return.
04
Hand over
A proper handover: files, guidance, and anything you need to use the work confidently after I'm gone.
Two ways to work together
CULTURAL & CAMPAIGN WORK
You work in a museum, gallery, or charity
You have a project that needs to feel right — not just look right. I know how cultural institutions think, how they brief, and how to make work that holds up inside those walls and beyond them.
BRAND IDENTITY
You're building something of your own
You have an idea, a business, or a name — and you need it to look like it means it. I'll help you work out what it is before we work out what it looks like.

Not sure which one you are?
That's fine too. You don't need a finished brief or a fixed budget to get in touch. If something's on your mind, that's enough to start.
