Serious work, joyfully made.

Big-hearted design for people making good things.

Hello, I'm Sarah

A visual thinker, designer and occasional baker. I've spent my decade-long career helping museums, arts organisations, charities and brands that give a damn make work worth caring about.

Off the clock you'll find me at the bar or at the beach. Yes both count as research. Every project deserves its happy hour.

Services

Three ways we can work together.

Brand & identity

Branding that's understood in a heartbeat. I don't have a house style. It starts with you, what you do and who it's for. Then I build what that needs, perhaps a whole identity, perhaps the one piece that's missing. I've worked with everyone from the British Museum to a bean-to-bar chocolate maker every job gets the same care. Big presence, whatever the size.

Print / packaging

Print is the part of the job I love most. Reports, magazines, books, invitations, packaging, trails, all the things people pick up and hold onto rather than scroll past. It’s where the small stuff matters most: the right stock, a foil that catches the light, a fold that opens the way it should. I care as much about how it feels in your hand as how it looks.

Digital & campaigns

This is your work out in the world, meeting people before you do. Websites, landing pages, social, email, and campaigns that have to stop someone mid-scroll and give them a reason to care. I love weaving a bit of play into every brief, and turning serious things into something people actually want to spend time with.

What's been keeping me busy.
